Southern Caribbean Cruise Aboard Emerald Princess ~ Part 1 (The Ship)

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 10 night Southern Caribbean cruise in April 2013 aboard the Emerald Princess.  This, our third Princess cruise, was itinerary packed in some of the most beautiful and interesting islands in the Caribbean.

We left Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, April 16, booked into our very first balcony cabin.  We were on Baja Deck in cabin B414 on the Port side of the ship.

We loved having the freedom of a balcony and spent many hours peacefully listening to the sounds of the waves as we spent our first two days at sea.
There’s always so much to do aboard a Princess cruise ship.  Often throughout our days onboard you could find us on the pool deck, basking in the Caribbean sunshine watching movies on the big screen poolside
During the evenings we would wander the Piazza listening to music or finding a delicious treat in the International Cafe
Whether a day at sea or after a fun-filled day of excursions, every night aboard our floating resort we would dream about the excitement and adventure that would meet us at sunrise the next day!
The sun sets on another fabulous day

Check out the next two posts as I share with you highlights of the ports we visited on our Southern Caribbean cruise.
