If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in Mexico, I’ve got the place for you! A recent review from a client raves about the 5-Star Excellence they found at the beautiful All-Inclusive Iberostar Quetzal in the gated-community of Playa Del Carmen in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico.

Some of the highlights of a 7-day stay at this lush resort are the beautiful gardens and wildlife around the resort, particularly along the cobble-stone path to the powdery white sand beach. Guests never feel crowded in this 350 room resort. On the grounds monkeys, iguanas, a vast array of birds and other interesting wildife, like the odd raccoon-like creatures greet guests.
Rooms in this tropical all-inclusive resort are either Standard or Ocean Front Jr. Suite and my clients were sure that there is probably not a bad room in the place. They enjoyed the spacious accommodations that include either 2 double beds or 1 king size bed plus balcony with either garden/jungle/pool or oceanview room; Air conditioning; mini bar; ceiling fan; coffee service; bathroom w/ shower; telephone; hair dryer; digital safe; color tv with cable; remote control; iron; ironing board. Everything to make you feel right at home.

If you’re not interested in just lazing in the warm Mexican sun on a beach chair under a Tiki umbrella,
there are luxurious spa treatments, non-motorized water sports, volleyball, exercise room and inviting pools to keep guests busy.
For a fee golfers can head across to the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Hotel Golf Club for 18 holes, fly high above the sea parasailing or whip along the water on waterskis. So much to do you’ll never want to leave.

For those wanting to venture outside the resort, you can take a safe 30 minute walk within the gated community to a lovely shopping area within Playa Del Carmen or take an excursion to see the Mayan sites, but it is highly suggested to not leave the resort after dark. There is evening entertainment and a disco on site so you can enjoy the nightlife right at the resort.
You won’t go hungry at the Quetzal as food is as plenteous as the sunshine and delicious, particularly the desserts my clients added.
There are many options for your dining pleasure including speciality restaurants offering – Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse, along with the buffet and poolside eats. There are also many bars throughout the resort eager to fill your cup with your favorite tropical beverage.
Only 45 minutes from the airport, this resort is a true escape for you, your family and friends.
If you wish to enjoy this all-inclusive resort, be sure to contact me and before you know it you’ll have that pina colada in your hand and the Mexican sunshine bronzing your winter skin!
